Mind Values Leadership was created with a clear purpose: to help organisations grow stronger by growing their leaders.
We believe leadership development should be real, human, and practical. It should be about helping leaders navigate complexity, have the conversations that matter, and build the confidence to take the brave next step, even when the path ahead is unclear.
We don’t use blueprints or fads. We partner with organisations to create tailored leadership development, coaching, and organisational consulting that fits their people, culture, and context. Because when leadership becomes part of the way your organisation thinks, behaves, and communicates, it creates a ripple effect that drives meaningful, long-term change.
Our clients come to us when they know something in their organisation is getting in the way of progress, but they can’t quite put their finger on it. We help them find the words, raise awareness, and work with the underlying issues that are affecting people, performance and culture.

Meet our Founder, Emma Canter
Mind Values Leadership is led by Emma Canter, an experienced leadership development consultant, facilitator, and coach.
Emma’s background is firmly rooted in HR and people management, having worked at a senior level within the utilities sector in the UK and North America. During her corporate career, Emma partnered with leaders to develop engaged teams and cultures that delivered sustainable performance.
In 2016, Emma took her own brave next step to leave the corporate world and start her own leadership development business, seeking a more fulfilling and flexible way of working which would enable her to focus on work that truly mattered to her.
In 2019, she rebranded to Mind Values Leadership to reflect the values that guide her work: transparency, authenticity, and a commitment to leading from the heart.
Emma’s lived experience of leading in complex organisations, combined with her deep people expertise, allows her to support leaders and teams in navigating the challenges they face. She knows what good leadership feels like and is committed to helping others build the confidence and capability to lead well.
Introducing our Lead Consultant, Ben Gibbs
Ben is a relational and engaging consultant, coach and leadership development facilitator, with deep experience of supporting those leading dynamic organisations.
Driven by a desire to help people overcome barriers to high performance, Ben seeks to enable clarity in complexity, helping leaders discover and understand what to do.
He has a particular interest in the ‘undercurrents’ of organisational life, and how attending to the relationships and interdependencies that really drive behaviour can unlock real improvements and enable lasting change.
Trained to post-graduate level as a teacher, trainer and consultant, he draws on 25 years’ experience of working in, with and between organisations in a range of roles and sectors, including 14 years running a small consultancy service.
When not working, Ben enjoys walking, gravel bike riding and anything that gets him outdoors. A life-long learner and avid reader, he is a passionate advocate for school reform, Patron of a charity supporting young people recovering from life-changing illnesses and has given in to a mid-life urge to make strange shapes out of wood.
